Home Secretary visits DTL

On 13th November 2013 Home Secretary Theresa May visited DTL. The visit, which was covered in The Sentinel and BBC Radio Stoke was organised because Ms May is keen to see alternative ways of testing which rule out the need for testing on animals. Ms May said: “It is great to see a leading organisation like this doing so well and working with companies across the world. The Home Office is responsible for animal research and I was keen to see alternatives and this is a great system. It was great to see the company’s plans for the future in this key area of science and its job creation opportunities for people who are graduates.”
